A plaque in memory of Tom McCall, long serving Planning Convener of Balerno Community Council was unveiled by his son David and daughter Susan on 14 October in front of members of his wider family and members of the Council. Tom died in 2011 after over thirty years valued service to the community and an oak tree was planted in his memory by the Council in February 2016.
