Balerno is a village 7 1/2 miles to the South West of Edinburgh. 

This site is the online home of Balerno Community Council (BCC).  It is intended to:
- Provide a central point of information on the web, linking to other Balerno websites on our links page
- Maintain a public record of BCC business, including a scheule of meetings, meeting minutes and other relevant information here
- Provide a means for the community to engage with the Community Council via our contact form

NEWS
There will be discussion of the Ministry of Defence's plans to to create a "Multi Role Base" at Kirknewton Airfiled within the Balerno Community Council boundary  at the next meeting on Tuesday 2nd August 2011, 7:30pm at Balerno High School.
