BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is committed to maintaining and improving the trunk road network in your area. As such, we will be undertaking essential overnight carriageway resurfacing on the A720 after the Dreghorn Junction
WHEN These works are scheduled to take place over five nights: Monday 13 July and Friday 17 July, from 20:30 to 06:00 each night, with no works currently planned to take place on weekends.
HOW WE’LL MANAGE IT For the safety of road users and our workforce, a signed diversion route will be in place during the works. Traffic restrictions: Road closure - Westbound From: A720 Dreghorn Junction Via: Dreghorn Link → Redford Road (B701) → Colinton Road (B701) → Wester Hailes Road (B701) → Calder Road (A71) Rejoin: A720 at Calder Junction Diversion impact: Estimated additional +7 minutes / +0.5 miles to affected journeys.
