Saturday marked the 20th anniversary of the Farmers Market and Balerno Community Council (BCC) offered our congratulations to the organisers.

The popular market was started by BCC in 2005 under the auspices of the Balerno Village Conservation and Development Group.

Our picture is a flashback to the opening day. The 20th anniversary was held on a brilliant day of weather and the Main Street was packed with shoppers. Some stalls are reported to have sold out. More pictures elsewhere in this section.
