Parent Council in Balerno Community High School
The previous system of School Boards has been replaced by a Parent Forum and Parent Council.

Sad Day for Balerno Badgers
A group of gamekeepers walked free from court on Tuesday 11 September after a number of charges against them, relating to animal cruelty and attacking badgers, were dropped by the Crown. Police and animal care groups who attended the court hearing were disappointed at the result.
